Ministry of Defence Quota 2024-25
Applicants applying for reserved Defence seats in Medical and Dental Colleges as Government of India Nominees under the Ministry of Defence Quota for the academic session 2024-25.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must belong to eligible categories under the Ministry of Defence sponsored seats and satisfy the prescribed Defence Priority criteria.
- The candidate should have qualified NEET UG examination conducted by NTA and should fulfill all eligibility requirements prescribed by MCC and NMC.
- Only candidates possessing a valid Priority Certificate issued by the competent Defence Authority are eligible to apply under this quota.
- Admission under Defence Quota is allotted strictly on the basis of NEET Rank and Defence Priority category.
Eligibility Certificate
- Candidates are required to obtain an Eligibility Certificate issued by the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) or other competent Defence Authority.
- The certificate must clearly mention the Defence Priority category (Priority I to Priority V) under which the candidate is applying.
- Incomplete, invalid or improperly certified documents may lead to rejection of candidature under Defence Quota.
- Candidates are advised to keep original certificates and supporting documents ready during counselling and admission process.
Important: Defence Quota seats are allotted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) based on the Priority list certified by the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB). Candidates should verify the latest eligibility rules and document requirements before participating in counselling.
